You’re standing at the gates of heaven before God and He said to you why should I let you in? What would you say?

THE GOOD NEWS

GRACE: Heaven is a free gift. It’s not earned or deserved, Romans 6:23, Galatians 2:16

MAN: Is a sinner. He cannot save himself, Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23

GOD: Is merciful, righteous, holy and fair. Therefore, He must punish sin, 1 John 4:8, 2 Peter 3:9

JESUS CHRIST: The infinite God Man. He died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. He purchased a place in heaven for us, Ephesians 2:8-9, Colossians 1:13-20

FAITH: Isn’t intellectual like the mind or temporal like health, finances and protection. Faith is trusting in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life. Acts 16:31, Hebrews 12:2

ASSURANCE: Is believing that you have eternal life only through Him, John 6:47, John 5:24

I believe and want a new start say this prayer

Heavenly Father, I recognise that I’m a sinner and repent of my sins. Please, forgive me. I believe that you died, buried and rose to life, all because you love me. Come into my heart and be The Lord of my life. Give me the assurance of your salvation. Let me know you as my Living God. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

Benefits of faith in Jesus Christ

The Father sent His Son into the world

To seek and save the lost

Resurrected to give eternal life
Released The Holy Spirit of Truth to dwell inside us
Impute (credit) righteousness and Impart (gave) righteousness to those who believe
For us to know God
To have His peace
To serve others with His love
