MY TESTIMONY

Hello, My name is Denzil and I’m not ashamed to share The Gospel with you today. This website is designed in faith to help encourage you to choose life. We don’t know how long we have left on this world. This precious gift called life isn’t guaranteed for tomorrow. So, think about what you're about to read below.

I'm a sinner saved by grace. I was far from being a righteous man but through faith I thank Jesus Christ for His perfect sacrifice, His cleansing word, His precious blood and His death on the cross I am free from the wrath of God. Christ has risen and now sitting at the right hand of The Father interceding for us.

This life brings new challenges, trials, temptations and tests. especially, during my early years. I struggled daily, trying to live a consistent Christian life.

I have to be honest and show a bit of vulnerability as I will be speaking to people with similar issues. At times I realised that I was living in my own strength that led me to backslide and not maturing in faith. By God's grace I repented to The LORD, asked for forgiveness and He filled me with His Holy Spirit to witness.

Today, I face the world in a new light in hope of the glory of God. I know I'm not perfect so if I make a mistake I ask for forgiveness,1 John 1:9 to restore my relationship with God. By the grace and mercy of God I'm still here. This Christian journey hasn't been smooth. I know that I've been disciplined and trained along the way. I believe God continues to build up my perseverance and character day by day.

How can people know about Jesus Christ if nobody shares His word with others?

Matthew 28:19-20 NASB

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit teaching them to follow all that I commanded you and behold I am with you always to the end of the age

Mark 16:15-20 NASB

And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. The one who has believed and has been baptised will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues, they will pick up serpents and if they drink any deadly poison it will not harm them, they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. So then when the LORD Jesus had spoken to them He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere while the LORD worked with them and confirmed the word by the signs that followed. And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions and after that Jesus Himself also sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation.

Luke 24:46-47 NASB

and He said to them "so it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold I am sending the promise of My Father upon you but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high

John 4:35-38 NASB

Do you not say, "there are still four months and then comes the harvest"? Behold I tell you raise your eyes and observe the fields that they are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for eternal life so that the one who sows and the one who reaps may rejoice together. For in this case the saying is true One sows and another reaps. I sent you to reap that for which you have not laboured; others have laboured and you have come into their labour"

Acts 1:8 NASB

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be My Witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and as far as the remotest part of the earth

My passion

Many people to give their heart to THE LORD. We can't avoid this fact that we all have to give an account to God one day.

Unbelievers, will face God and explain how they lived their life.

Believers, will give an account for their service and how they used their talents and gifts.

The scriptures state that 'we live once then there is judgement, Hebrews 9:27.

The bad news is that Unbelievers will be condemned for their unbelief in Jesus Christ.

The good news is Believers won’t pay the penalty for their sins because of faith in Jesus Christ who paid it all. Believers won’t ever be separated from God.

For without faith its impossible to please God, Hebrews 11:6.

All scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that a man or woman of God may be fully capable equipped for every good work

Take a glimpse into my past

As a young man I lived a selfish life. It was hard to shake off my competitive drive during the early parts of my Christian journey. I played tournament poker parttime to earn extra money, from 2005 up to 2015. Poker was my part time occupation that was paying for my weekly bills. I maintained a bankroll from my winnings. I was making a steady monthly income and planned of turning it into fulltime until the Lord called me away to be a witness for Him. I struggled to get back into a 9 to 5 routine and due to living off a normal wage packet I went back to the poker tables briefly in 2017 and a couple of months in 2023. My conscience was effecting my behaviour due to knowing what God called me to do and Since the back end of 2023, I've never looked back. The Lord called me away completely from these dead works. I'm reminded that Jesus Christ called me for an eternal inheritance, Hebrews 9:15 and a purpose to share The Goodnews to unbelievers that through Jesus Christ finished work on the cross we are saved by grace.

An amazing encounter by The Holy Spirit, inside room twelve at Karibu Hostel, Duke Street, Nottingham, NG7 7JN. On 25th August 2003, after Ministers Cynthia Hayles and Joanne Formby, were invited to FGRC Convention.

How I became a Christian

In 2003, Monday 25th August, my life changed when I was homeless due to my mother remarried and sold the family home. I moved into temporary accommodation in Basford. I attended a FGRC church service and Joanne Formby during her talk asked 10 people to donate £500 towards The Lord's ministry. I had no money at the time but this is where faith kicked in. Due to sitting at the back of church, I stood up and walked towards the front. Just before I got to the front a woman from the congregation sitting in the front row got my attention and she looked at me to get my attention. She then said do you have anything and I said no. The woman gave me £500 to put towards Joanne's Formby request. Remember, I stood up to walk in faith without knowing what will happen. Joanne Formby prayed for me and from that point something inside me changed. To be honest would I respond to this type of request again I'm not to sure but I believe God met me at my faith point. I'm not a believer in the prosperity Gospel but believe in the power that Jesus saves.

Family Nottingham Outreach 2024

That same night on Monday 25th August, 2003, when I returned to my temporary accommodation I felt hungry and made some cereal in the communal area. During the meal I felt faint and weak and managed to make the journey back to my bedroom and fell down onto my bed still conscious. I felt the presents of God all over me and like someone breathing into my mouth, (but now I know it was Christ). The Holy Spirit immediately had given me another language. I can remember speaking to Him and giving praises to God. The next morning I felt supernaturally charged and looked at the world with new eyes. When I returned to church people looked at me differently and asked what happened to me. I can remember visiting my mum and praying over her and talking to my nephew regarding my supernatural experience.

I have to mention Cynthia Hayles because she led a powerful service where the presents of God fell on the congregation at FGRC, on Monday 25th August, 2003 before Joanne Formby evening service. There has never been a day like it since to present date.

For many years I didn't know my purpose in life. I was seeking God on 01.03.13. So, I wrote down different ministries in faith (left picture).

A prophecy was given to me by a mature and faithful servant on 24.03.13. She wrote it on a piece of paper (right picture)

In my own words as of March 2024, in these last days

There is life after death. Will people believe in Jesus Christ or reject Him? Today, Lets describe the current affairs of the world we live in. People are full of greed, envy, lust, corruption, deception, evil desires, hate, disobedience towards parents, world wars, crimes, lack of peace, perverted justice, politicians personal gains, shady business transactions, spiritual teachers turning religion into commercial enterprises, cost of living crisis, AI technology increasing lack of employment, failures of the NHS, lovers of money and power.

The bible states difficult times will come

1 Timothy 3:1-5

but realise this that in the last days difficult times will come. for people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness although they denied its power; avoid such people as these

Colossians 1:13-20

Romans 8:1-11

Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did; sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God. for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spiritof God dwells in you, But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. If Christ is in you, though the body is dead becuse of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
