Hello, My name is Denzil and I’m not ashamed to share The Gospel with you today. I'm not a Jehovah's Witness, Mormon, Seven Day Adventist, Roman Catholic, Latter Day Saints or Christadelphian.

 

There are so many Christian denominations around the world and it can get overwhelming for us and unbelievers but Christ is the head of The Church and we are the body. There is only one way to The Father who is in heaven.

 

John 14:6;  Jesus answered "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

This is my go to scriptures for inspiration as follows;

Ephesians 2:8-9; For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.

We are under grace in the New Testament and not under The Mosaic Law. Even though, 'The Law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good', Romans 7:12.

 

Thank you LORD for doing a new thing. These scriptures are also relevant too, Jeremiah 31:31-32 and Romans 3:19-20.

I came from a Pentecostal background and believed that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, Yeshua, Yahweh, the Prince of Peace, the Lion from the Tribe of Judah and The Son of David who is Fully Man and Fully God. The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit (3 persons) as The Lord reveals Himself in The Holy Bible that contains 66 books. I currently read the NASB, NKJV and NIV versions.

 

In John 1:1 the opening verse "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

 

Hebrews 1:1-3, In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

 

The scriptures above are my foundation of faith in Christ.

I'm a sinner saved by grace. I was far from living a righteous life but through God's grace and truth I thank Jesus Christ for His perfect sacrifice, His cleansing word, His precious blood, His death on the cross and resurrection. I'm free from the wrath of God. Christ has overcome death and now sitting at the right hand of The Father interceding for us.

 

This life brings new challenges, trials, temptations and tests. especially, during my early years. I struggled daily, trying to live a consistent Christian life. Who said living a Christian life is easy? Jesus said that there will be trouble in this world but for believers to have peace, but take heart, for He has overcome the world.

 

I have to be honest and show a bit of vulnerability as I will be speaking to people with similar issues. At times I understand that I was living in my own strength that led me to backslide and not maturing in sound faith. But by God's grace I repented to The LORD, asked for forgiveness and He filled me with His Holy Spirit to witness.

 

Today, I face the world in a new light in hope of the glory of God. I'm not perfect and If I make a mistake I ask God for forgiveness 1 John 1:9, to restore my relationship. By the grace and mercy of God I'm still here. This Christian journey hasn't been smooth. I know that I've been disciplined and trained by grace along the way. I believe God continues to build up perseverance and character day by day.

How can people know about Jesus Christ if nobody shares His word with others?

Matthew 28:19-20 NASB

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit teaching them to follow all that I commanded you and behold I am with you always to the end of the age

Mark 16:15-20 NASB

And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. The one who has believed and has been baptised will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues, they will pick up serpents and if they drink any deadly poison it will not harm them, they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. So then when the LORD Jesus had spoken to them He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere while the LORD worked with them and confirmed the word by the signs that followed. And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions and after that Jesus Himself also sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation.

Luke 24:46-47 NASB

and He said to them "so it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold I am sending the promise of My Father upon you but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high

John 4:35-38 NASB

Do you not say, "there are still four months and then comes the harvest"? Behold I tell you raise your eyes and observe the fields that they are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for eternal life so that the one who sows and the one who reaps may rejoice together. For in this case the saying is true One sows and another reaps. I sent you to reap that for which you have not laboured; others have laboured and you have come into their labour"

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be My Witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and as far as the remotest part of the earth
